Guy Broadbent - President and CEO
Mr. Broadbent joined Xcellerex in April 2010 as President and Chief Executive Officer. He also serves as a member of Xcellerex’s Board of Directors. Mr. Broadbent came to Xcellerex after a 25-year career, including substantial experience in the life sciences sector, most recently at Thermo Fisher Scientific where he served in a number of senior positions, including President of the $1.8 billion Laboratory Products Division, and most recently, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development.



Parrish M. Galliher - Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Galliher earned his BA in Biology at Boston University (1975). After 3 years as an EIT at Dynatech R/D Corp., he began graduate studies at MIT and earned his MS in Biochemical Engineering. Mr. Galliher joined Biogen, Inc. in 1981 where he was responsible for design, commissioning and management of Biogen’s first biomanufacturing facility. He held various management positions in Process Development, Engineering and Clinical Manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals using bacteria, yeast and mammalian cells. As Director of Process Engineering, he led the team responsible for startup, initial validation and commissioning of Biogen’s Avonex® manufacturing facility licensed by the FDA in 1996. Mr. Galliher joined Alpha-Beta Technology (ABT) in January of 1994 as Director of Manufacturing Development and was promoted to Vice President in 1995. He led the team responsible for technology transfer, startup, validation, and commissioning of ABT’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Smithfield , RI . and was appointed Vice President of Operations and General Manager in 1997. Mr. Galliher joined LeukoSite, Inc. in 1999 as Vice President of Biologics Manufacturing. After Millennium Pharmaceuticals acquired LeukoSite later that year, Mr. Galliher managed Millennium’s worldwide biologics manufacturing operations, including leadership of the CMC Team that contributed to FDA licensure of CAMPATH® monoclonal antibody in 2001. He also led the Manufacturing Productivity Improvement program which enabled high speed development of Millennium’s anti-CCR-2 Mab for clinical trials. Mr. Galliher founded Xcellerex in December 2002.



John A. Chickosky - Chief Commercial Officer and President, Biosystems Division
Mr. Chickosky brings more than 20 years of senior management experience at life science technology companies. Prior to Xcellerex, he held senior positions at life science equipment companies, including at Kendro Laboratory Products (now part of ThermoFisher), where he was Vice President, Global Bioprocessing and Drug Discovery Sales and at CARR Separations, where he was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Prior to CARR, he served as Vice President Sales and Marketing at AquaAir, Inc. and at Sepracor, Inc as Vice President, Marketing and Vice President, Business Development. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Santa Clara University and an MBA from St.Mary‚s College (California).



Jonathan I. Lieber - Chief Financial Officer
Jonathan Lieber, who currently serves as Chief Financial Officer, brings expertise in finance, capital raising, and management. Prior to joining Xcellerex, Mr. Lieber served in a variety of positions at Altus Pharmaceuticals Inc. from July 2002-March 2009 most recently, as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. During his time at Altus, Mr. Lieber led the company through three financings raising approximately $250 million, including a $110 million initial public offering. From 1998 to June 2002, Mr. Lieber was a member of SG Cowen’s Health Care Investment Banking Group, most recently as a vice president focused on the biotechnology and specialty pharmaceuticals sectors. Prior to joining SG Cowen, Mr. Lieber was a member of the Health Care and High Yield Groups at Salomon Brothers Inc. Over the course of his career in investment banking, Mr. Lieber originated and/or executed more than $4 billion in financings for public and private companies. Mr. Lieber received an M.B.A. in finance from the Stern School of Business of New York University and a B.Sc. in business administration from Boston University.
